SurveyClub: Sign Up for Online and In-Person Research Studies

Every year, companies pour millions of dollars into developing their brands, products, services, digital properties, and advertisements.

With all this money being spent, it’s imperative that businesses make the most of their investments.

That’s why they do their due diligence to ensure every penny is put to good use.

Throughout the development of products, services, and advertisements, companies turn to survey companies to get feedback from real consumers.

One of these survey companies is called SurveyClub.

SurveyClub helps businesses refine their products and services, but why this is important to you?

Because you can make money with this platform simply by giving your opinion and answering surveys on different topics.

In this article, we’ll go over what SurveyClub is, how it works, how much money you can make, and how you can sign up and start earning some extra cash today.

What Is SurveyClub?

SurveyClub is a platform that helps people like you find paid survey opportunities all around the world.

Unlike other survey sites like Swagbucks and Survey Junkie, SurveyClub conducts few surveys themselves.

Instead, they connect you with other market research services who need survey respondents.

Market research companies turn to SurveyClub to list survey opportunities and find qualified respondents.

As a SurveyClub member, you’ll be able to browse survey opportunities from several different research companies.

Opportunities will also be sent directly to your mobile phone or email.

The opportunities you can get paid for are seemingly endless.

These can include online surveys, focus groups, research panels, taste tests, clinical trials, mystery shopping, and in-home product usage studies.

SurveyClub is free to join and can help you easily make extra money online.

You’ll be compensated with cash, gift cards, prepaid credit cards, sweepstakes entries, or prizes for your efforts.

Let’s take a look at how SurveyClub works.

How Does SurveyClub Work?

Before you can reel in some extra income with SurveyClub, you’ll need to sign up, create a respondent profile, select survey panels, and complete assignments.

After that, you’ll be paid for every assignment you complete.

Here’s how it works.

Sign Up for SurveyClub

The first step to joining SurveyClub is making sure you pass the requirements to use the service.

In order to be a SurveyClub member, you must be at least 13 years old and from the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, or Australia.

If you fit into this category, head to the sign-up page to create your account.

You’ll need to provide the following information to create your account.

  • Name
  • Email
  • Gender
  • Date of birth
  • Ethnicity
  • ZIP code
  • Country
  • Password

Once your account is created, you’ll move onto the next stage — creating your respondent profile.

At this point, the information requirements go from fairly basic to more personal.

Create Your Profile

Create profile for SurveyClub
The information you provide in your profile will qualify you for paid research opportunities.

Your demographic and personal information will put you in the running for certain research studies that have a particular type of person in mind.

Needless to say, the more information you provide, the more opportunities you can qualify for.

You can volunteer all of the following pieces of information to qualify for research studies.

  • Residence ownership
  • Address
  • Household income
  • Employment status
  • Marital status
  • Number of children
  • Education level
  • Alcohol consumption
  • Health information
  • Lifestyle information

The last two items on the list — health and lifestyle information — will ask you to list any health problems you may have.

“Lifestyle information” will include things like whether or not you own a pet, have a Smart TV, or participate in sports or other activities.

The answers you provide to these questions will better place you for unique survey opportunities that others may not have access to.

For example, by letting SurveyClub know that you own a pet, you could receive survey notifications for the latest and greatest pet food that has hit the market.

This applies to all other personal information you’re willing to provide within your profile.

After you’ve filled out the profile information, you’ll be asked to sign up for a variety of different research panels.

Select Your Research Panels

Next, you’ll sign up for research companies that will send you opportunities through SurveyClub.

The platform recommends signing up for at least three companies to increase the chances of receiving opportunities you qualify for.

You’ll need to sign up for each individual survey panel you see on the screen. When you click on an icon, you’ll be redirected to the research panel’s website.

From there, you need to create a separate profile on their website.

This may seem a bit time-consuming — especially since you’re encouraged to sign up for at least three sites — but this step is important to ensure you provide yourself with plenty of opportunities to make money.

After you sign up for these panels, you’ll need to confirm your membership through the email they send you.

Now that you’re signed up, the only thing left to do is start taking surveys and participating in research opportunities.

Complete Surveys and Studies

The number of survey opportunities you can access will depend on how many panels you signed up for and how many survey companies are looking for respondents that fit your demographic.

On average, survey panels will text or email you one to four opportunities per week.

Surveys will be sent to you directly through text or email.

You can also browse available survey opportunities on SurveyClub’s website.

You should be quick to pull the trigger and complete the survey as soon as you receive an invitation.

Opportunities have a finite lifespan and will expire once they receive a certain number of responses.

Survey opportunities may be sent directly from the various research companies or SurveyClub.

These can include online surveys, phone interviews, in-person focus groups, in-home product testing, mystery shopping, or research panels.

These opportunities will be a mix of online and in-person research assignments.

Before you take a survey, you’ll be required to complete a short screener survey.

This will ask you some general questions to see if you qualify for the study.

Keep in mind that you won’t get paid for answering these questions, but it only takes a few minutes to complete.

You’ll be encouraged to keep the information on your profile updated so you only receive relevant surveys for which you are qualified.

When you qualify for a study, you’ll either complete it online or in-person — whichever the study entails.

After that, you’ll be compensated for your efforts.

So, how much does SurveyClub pay you for taking surveys?

How Much Does SurveyClub Pay?

What you’re paid for completing a research assignment will depend on what type of research study it is, whether or not it’s in person, how long it takes, and which company is performing the study.

To give you an idea, a pharmaceutical company performing a high-paying clinical trial can reward you as much as $1,000 for your efforts.

On the other end of the scale, a food company could pay you $40 to $60 per day for testing foods and giving your opinion.

However, you could have a quick online survey that may pay only $5.

Every opportunity will be different.

The type of compensation you’ll receive from each opportunity will also vary.

Some opportunities will pay cash while others offer gift cards.

Others will enter you into sweepstakes where you have the opportunity to win prizes or large amounts of cash.

Surveys that are administered directly through SurveyClub will pay you through PayPal, a check, or an Amazon gift card — whichever you prefer.

Once you hit $25 in rewards, you can cash out through your preferred payment method.

However you’re compensated, you’ll always be told how long a survey will take to complete and what you’ll be paid for your efforts.
