Deliveroo is one of the most popular food delivery services in the world, despite not yet being available in the United States.

It has been connecting hungry people with their favorite local restaurants since 2013 and now has a presence in 13 countries across the globe. If you’ve considered trying Deliveroo but want to save some money on your delivery orders, keep reading.

In this article, we’ll look at everything you need to know about Deliveroo, from what it is to popular promo codes and how to use them, any applicable restrictions, referral codes, payment options, where you can order from Deliveroo, and Deliveroo FAQ.

What Is Deliveroo?

Deliveroo is a popular way to order food from your favorite restaurants. Similar to Grubhub, Uber Eats, and Seamless, it offers the convenience of delivery while removing the need to actually call and speak to a human being in order to get your food delivered.

You can order Deliveroo through deliveroo.co.uk or the Deliveroo mobile app. Deliveroo has both an Apple iOS app and an Android app.

Deliveroo charges delivery fees to cover their operating costs. However, unlike most other delivery services, Deliveroo allows users to choose between paying a per-delivery fee or paying a monthly membership fee which allows for unlimited fee-free deliveries.

If you order food delivery frequently, a Deliveroo membership can save you quite a bit of money.

Popular Deliveroo Promo Codes

The best way to save money on your first Deliveroo order is by getting a Deliveroo referral code from someone you already know who is a Deliveroo user.

If you don’t know anyone who already uses Deliveroo, you can use our promo code “BGPGCNDZTP” which will enable you to save £5 total with £2.50 off your first order and £2.50 off your second order.

How to Use a Deliveroo Coupon Code

Using a Deliveroo code is easy.

You simply go to the Deliveroo website or your Deliveroo app and select the restaurant you’d like to order from. Choose your food items from the menu and add them to your cart.

Where to Find a Deliveroo Promo Code and How to Use It

Once you’re ready to place your order, click on the “Go to Checkout” link on the right side of your screen.

If you haven’t already logged in, do so now. Once you’re logged in, you’ll be asked to choose payment method.

On the payment screen, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the “Add promo code” link. Paste your coupon code or our code “BGPGCNDZTP” in the field that appears.

Select “Update Total” and complete your order by choosing your payment method and confirming your delivery details.

If you’re the sort of person who forgets to enter promo codes, you can still save £4 on your first order by clicking here and then signing up for an account.

Deliveroo Promo Code Restrictions

Deliveroo promo codes are generally only available for new users who are placing their first Deliveroo orders. The value of the discount code will only be applied to the cost of food items and will not cover any taxes or applicable delivery fees.

Deliveroo does offer specials on their website and in their mobile app which you do not need a discount code to access. An example of a couponless promotion is Deliveroo’s deal for fresh lunches daily for £4.99 plus free delivery.

Restaurants can also choose to offer discounts on Deliveroo to attract more business and entice Deliveroo users to give them a try. An example of a promotion like this is a 20 percent off from participating local restaurants. So make sure to check which restaurants in your area are participating in this offer.

The best way to save money on your Deliveroo order, especially as an existing customer, is by referring your friends, family, and social media followers to Deliveroo.

Deliveroo Referral Codes

In order to refer someone to Deliveroo, you will need to have placed a certain number of orders. How many orders you need to have placed will depend on where you are.

Once you’ve reached that number of orders, Deliveroo will email you your link so you can share your referral link with your family, friends, social media followers, and anyone else you choose.

Deliveroo is currently offering a £4 savings to new users on their first Deliveroo order and a £4 referral credit.

Deliveroo Payment Options

You must be able to pay for your order on a credit or debit card when you’re placing your order. Deliveroo does not accept cash payments to ensure the safety of their delivery people.

Although tipping isn’t required, you are welcome to tip your Deliveroo driver in cash or on your credit or debit card when placing the order.

Where Does Deliveroo Operate?

While Deliveroo is based in London, you can order from Deliveroo in over 100 cities across the United Kingdom. Deliveroo also operates in over 100 additional cities in continental Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. In Europe, you can use Deliveroo in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, France, Germany, Belgium, Ireland, Spain, and Italy. In Asia, Deliveroo is available in Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. And if you’re in the United Arab Emirates, you can also download and use Deliveroo.

Deliveroo is rapidly expanding to new areas and adding restaurants on a regular basis. If Deliveroo isn’t in your city or country yet, keeping checking back. They may be there soon.

Deliveroo Cash Back

If you’re in Singapore, you can earn cash back on all your Deliveroo orders through Shopback.sg/deliveroo. You can install the Chrome or Safari extension, log in, and every time you order from Deliveroo on your desktop, you’ll be credited 3 percent of any orders over $60 and 1.5 percent of any orders under $60 excluding taxes and fees. The credit will show up in your account within 75 days.

Deliveroo FAQ

While Deliveroo operates much like other food delivery services, there are still some questions you may have. Here are some of the most common ones.

Where to Find a Deliveroo Promo Code

What is Deliveroo Plus?

Deliveroo Plus is Deliveroo’s monthly membership plan.

Instead of paying a delivery fee for each order you place on Deliveroo, you pay £7.99 per month and have the ability to place unlimited delivery-fee-free orders that month. Deliveroo Plus members also get access to exclusive restaurant offers which aren’t available to other Deliveroo users.

These memberships are very popular among delivery services. Instacart’s Express membership program started the trend, and many others followed. They are a great value if you use the service often.

If you change your mind about your Deliveroo Plus membership within 14 days of signing up, Deliveroo will issue you a full refund. After the initial 14 days, you can cancel your Deliveroo Plus membership whenever you like, but Deliveroo will not refund the cost of your membership.

If you’d like to cancel your Deliveroo subscription, you can do so by emailing support@deliveroo.co.uk or calling +44 203 699 9977. You can also cancel on the Deliveroo website or your Deliveroo app by going to your Account and selecting “Cancel Subscription.”

Where does Deliveroo deliver from?

Deliveroo works with the most popular restaurants in each of the cities they operate in. Some of the most commonly ordered cuisines on Deliveroo are Italian, Mexican, Indian, Chinese, and Japanese.

If your favorite cuisine isn’t on that list, don’t worry. Deliveroo has a lot of other options and if a restaurant is one of your family favorites, it will probably be on the Deliveroo platform. If it’s not, you can suggest they sign up.

Does Deliveroo offer alcoholic drink delivery?

Deliveroo does offer alcoholic drink delivery, both with food from restaurants and from alcohol retail stores.

For any order that includes an alcoholic beverage (whether it’s the entire order or just part of it), an adult will need to be available to accept the delivery and show proof of age.

Without proof that the recipient is of legal drinking age in the (18 in the United Kingdom), the Deliveroo driver will not be able to complete the delivery, but you will still be charged.

Save With Deliveroo Voucher Codes

Deliveroo is a fantastic delivery app that offers both food and alcoholic drinks delivery, so whether you need dinner for your kids or drinks for your party, Deliveroo can help.

If you’re interested in giving Deliveroo a try, using a Deliveroo code on your first order will save you some money and referring your friends, family, and followers will help you save money on future orders.

If you end up loving Deliveroo and using it often, you may even end up signing up for a Deliveroo Plus membership. But for now, just use our code and give Deliveroo a try.

Bon appetit!
