Earn Money and Travel Benefits With Hilton Work from Home Jobs

Finding an entry-level job or a part-time gig can be a hassle when your lifestyle requires you to work at home, but if you know where to look, you can land your first interview in no time.

If you’re located in the United States, you may want to submit your resume for Hilton work-from-home jobs.

Hilton is an international hotel chain that consists of 17 well-known brands, including Hilton Hotels & Resorts, DoubleTree by Hilton, Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, Homewood Suites by Hilton, and Hampton by Hilton.

With the right career within this highly regarded company, you not only gain the flexibility you need, but you also gain entry into the tourism and hospitality industry.

In this article, we’ll explain what types of home-based job opportunities Hilton offers, how you can qualify, and what benefits the company provides.

What Is the Hilton Work from Home Team?

While Hilton hotels offer many types of jobs all around the world, it’s the Hilton Reservations and Customer Care (HRCC) department that has hundreds of employees working remotely throughout the U.S.

Together known as the Hilton Work from Home, these employees serve as reservation sales specialists or customer service agents for Hilton Honors members.

Both full-time and part-time team members may fulfill duties that include:

  • Helping customers book hotel rooms suited to their needs
  • Answering phone calls to assist customers seeking help
  • Meeting daily sales and customer service goals

All members of the Hilton Work from Home team work year-round to provide excellent service that’s available 24/7.

Hilton Work from Home Job Requirements

If the basic job description piques your interest, you’ll want to make sure you meet the requirements before you apply.

Members of Hilton’s Work from Home team must:

  • Have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be located in one of these 28 states where positions are available: Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Wisconsin, or Wyoming.
  • Have prior sales experience.
Basic retail experience, call center experience, or other part-time jobs related to sales are typically enough.

Hilton states that Work from Home team members should also showcase great communication skills as well as positivity and patience.

This will all feed into your ability to persuade customers in your sales role and help them out in the toughest situations in your customer service role.

In addition, team members must own the following, which will be used daily on the job:

  • A monitor
  • High-speed internet connection (must be wired, not wireless)
  • A surge protector
  • A quiet home office

If your internet connection isn’t compatible with the Hilton phone service for any reason, there’s a chance you may need to install a landline phone to be able to perform your job.

In most cases, any wired internet connection should work with the Hilton system, but you can contact your manager once you’re hired to get a confirmation before completing any purchase or installation.

Hilton will provide any additional equipment that’s needed for the job.

This includes your mini PC, keyboard, mouse, headset, flash drive, and Ethernet cable.

Upon acceptance into the Work from Home team, you’ll have to complete 56 hours of training over the course of one to two months.

These training sessions won’t pay as much, but online attendance is mandatory and will help you feel prepared for your job.

Benefits of Hilton Work from Home Jobs

The reservation sales specialist position isn’t the highest-paying job in the world, with a starting wage of $11 per hour, but it’s a great entry-level opportunity that comes with plenty of amazing perks.

First off, the average Work From Home employee earns an extra $250 per month, thanks to incentive payouts that you qualify for after your training is complete.

Because these incentives are based on personal performance with no limit, you have a chance to earn far more each month.

Another reason Hilton Work from Home positions are great for your earnings is the fact that these are not independent contractor jobs.

This means you will never have to pay self-employment taxes on top of your federal income tax, making taxes far less of a headache.

Hilton’s traditional employment style also means you qualify for benefits that include:

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
This is available for full-time employees following their first 90 days.
  • A 401(k) retirement plan with company match.
  • A discount travel program, which includes big discounts for Hilton hotels and restaurants.
After 10 years of employment, you automatically receive discounts for life, regardless of whether you continue working with the company or not.
  • Paid time off.
  • Leadership and development programs.

This position can further launch you into higher-paying and higher-ranking jobs within the Hilton chain, so you’re not expected to remain in this entry-level work for long.

Finally, you’ll also be entering a company that’s consistently ranked as a great place to work â€” even gaining the top spot on Fortune’s 100 Best list — while getting to control your own physical work environment as you perform your remote job.

Working from home with a leading global brand is an excellent way to get both flexibility and impressive work experience.

Whether you’re a college student, recent graduate, or stay-at-home mom, this is an opportunity to earn a decent income with great benefits.

Here are some frequently asked questions to help you decide if the Hilton Work from Home team is for you:

1. Can I work while traveling as a part of the Work from Home team?

While Hilton Work from Home careers are remote jobs, you unfortunately won’t be able to work while traveling.

This is because you’re required to use your home office with a stable, wired internet connection.

Beyond this, Hilton does require the use of quite a bit of stationary equipment, so it would be incredibly difficult to travel on the job.

Don’t let this discourage you from applying.
Because of the benefits Hilton offers, landing the job will help you
make travel more affordable when you do decide to take time off.

2. Does Hilton offer any remote jobs for people outside of the United States?

At the moment, all Hilton remote positions appear to only be available within the United States and only in the 28 states mentioned above.

However, there are opportunities to work with the company at different hotels and office buildings around the world.

3. How flexible are Hilton Work from Home jobs?

You can expect to have some say in your work schedule, but once your schedule is set, you’ll be expected to adhere to those hours.

While working with Hilton won’t give you the same flexible schedule as gig economy jobs like Uber and Lyft, which allow you to hop on and work anytime you want, you’ll still receive the same work/life balance without any required commute.
