Negreanu’s MasterClass is really interesting. Personally, I’m somewhat of a poker player. I’m no expert by any means. However, I know the rules and have maybe played a hundred times or so. So while I’m somewhat experienced, there’s a whole lot I don’t know.

For someone at my level, there’s a whole bunch of interesting takeaways in this course. You can learn a lot about game strategy, as well as competitive strategy. There’s even a lot about playing online (which I’ve never done).

This course does a great job of showing small-time players how to look at the game like one of the pros. Many may think poker is a game of luck, but it’s a game of wits, intelligence, and figuring out how to out-think your opponents.

On the other hand, if you’re a pro poker player already, you’ll have to read between the lines a little, and I’m assuming you’ll pick up a little more. Personally, I’m an amateur poker player at best, so I can’t really comment off personal experience. However, I had a look at other reviews from poker blogs and those expert judges still found the course enjoyable.

There isn’t too much that MasterClass can improve here.

For me, the only real issue you’d get from a course like this is if you’re not in the right target area.

If you’re an absolute newbie, you’d probably want to get some experience in the game before paying for the course – most of it will probably go straight over your head. And what you do understand probably won’t be too useful to you straight away anyway.

Likewise, if you’re looking for a super technical poker course that goes into the advanced numbers and data of particular hands, look elsewhere. However, you could still watch for enjoyment purposes.

This course is for the casual with enough experience to get by but wants to get better. If you’re in that audience group, you shouldn’t have too much of a problem here.

Yes, Daniel Negreanu’s MasterClass is worth the money. There is a whole lot of valuable information in this course that’ll improve your poker game if you follow the instruction.
