Reasons to Contact Care.com

So why would you ever need to contact Care.com? There are several reasons why people generally reach out to the Care.com customer care unit.
Primarily, users reach out to solve any account issues they may have. This could come in the form of being locked out of their account, their account is suspended for some reason, or they want to cancel service.
Others wish to contact Care.com in a secure fashion to discuss problems like billing details, changing forms of payment, or misunderstandings like being overcharged for services. Sometimes things on your bill may look a little odd and it’s always best to just clear things up with someone on the phone.
Hopefully this is not the case for you, but sometimes care seekers or caregivers need to report poor service experiences or other customer service issues. If this is the case, Care.com has open ears to hear any complaints or grievances you may have encountered.
Regardless of what your problem is, there are a few different ways to get in touch with Care.com support, with the urgency of your problem dictating which form of contact is best for you.

How to Contact Care.com

Care.com seems to make itself readily available to talk to. There are five ways customers or employers can get in touch with Care.com customer support team: Phone, online, email, Facebook, or Twitter.
Depending on how quickly you’d like to contact Care.com or the severity of your issue, it’s your choice as to which channel you feel is most appropriate.
We feel that calling up the service is the quickest and most efficient way to get any issue resolved, so let’s start with that one.

Phone

In order to get ahold of Care.com as soon as possible, you should reach out to the Care.com call center. Simply pick up the phone and dial +1-877-227-3115. Immediately press 3 and you’ll be directed to a real person to help you with your request.
You should expect to wait as long as 15 minutes to talk to a service representative, depending on the day of the week and the time that you call.
It’s important to note that this line is available Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m EST. We found that it’s best to call early at 10:00 a.m., as soon as the lines open, in order to avoid any wait times.
This is the fastest way to get in touch with Care.com and reach support waiting on the other end. But what if you want to get answers from Care.com and it’s outside of the phone service hours? Your next option is to get in touch through their online form.

Online

If you have a less urgent request or just want to contact Care.com outside of the phone service hours, the online help form is another great option.
Whether you’re looking to hire a worker, looking to find a job, or have any question regarding the service, this Care.com contact form gives you a way to do so.
Head to this page on www.Care.com to begin filling out the contact form.

Simply fill in your name, phone, and email, and then describe your request to Care.com. A customer service representative should be in contact with you within 24 hours to help you out.

Email

Similar to the online form, sending an email is a nice option for getting a response within 24 hours. This is an appropriate choice if your request is slightly less urgent and you don’t need to immediately speak with a representative.
Send an email to [email protected] with your name, contact information, and the nature of your request to get a speedy response from a Care.com agent.

Facebook Page

The Care.com Facebook Page is useful for finding recommendations and reviews of the Care.com platform through the customer community — albeit primarily negative reviews from disgruntled caregivers! It also gives you the option to directly message a Care.com representative.

This is a great option for accessing a Care.com live chat with someone in an online private environment. However, in many cases, representatives who are handling the social media accounts aren’t qualified to address many of your concerns. In turn, you may be directed to one of the previously mentioned channels to get in touch with customer support.
So it might be best just to call, fill out the contact form, or email to get your problem solved most efficiently.

Twitter

Lastly, you can use Care.com’s Twitter handle — @CareDotCom â€” if you’ve exhausted all other options or just prefer to use Twitter in general. Using Twitter is quite limited compared to all of the other forms of contact, but if you wish to keep things informal then go right ahead.
Care.com’s Twitter is a great source for current articles and information regarding the service that will give you advice on finding caregiving help for your family.

As mentioned with Facebook, using Twitter to contact customer support means that you may end up talking to someone who’s unable to solve your problems and will direct you to other forms of support, like phone or email.
But again, if you’re looking to just skim through some articles and attempt to address you problems on your own, then this is a great place to start.

If getting in touch with a customer care representative is not what you’re looking for, then there are a few alternate methods and resources that may be helpful. Sometimes it’s just easiest to solve problems on your own and not have to waste any time trying to contact someone else.
If you think you fall into this bucket, then let’s get you on your way to solving your issues.
Here are some helpful links that cover a range of Care.com issues. Some of these may require that you sign in prior to accessing the page.

Another helpful resource to address issues you may have is to head to the frequently asked questions pages. The Care Seeker FAQ Page will help families with any site, job, account access, or billing questions that come up. The Carer FAQ Page similarly addresses the same questions but for caregivers.
Through these links and FAQ pages, you should have everything you need to figure things out. If not, head back up to the top and give the customer support a call or email.

You’re on Your Way

The means in which you contact Care.com customer support really all depends on the severity of your issue and the urgency in which you need your problem resolved.
If you have something that you need to be fixed as soon as possible, like accessing your account, then we recommend using the Care.com phone number to receive a fast answer. If you’re trying to call outside of their business hours, then the contact form and email are the appropriate second choices.
When it comes to using Facebook and Twitter, we feel that if your request is somewhat in-depth there’s a good chance you’ll be redirected to phone or email support anyways. So you may as well cut out the middleman and go directly to those options first.
Our favorite option is picking up the phone and calling the customer number, but whichever option gets your problem solved the fastest is usually the best one. Best of luck!
