Hi, I’m Brett Helling
The Guy Behind Gigworker.com
I’m the owner of Gigworker.com, a passion project that I built after gaining experience doing hundreds of side hustles throughout my life.
I’ve been a rideshare driver since early 2012, having completed many trips for companies including Uber, Lyft, and Postmates. In 2014 I acquired Ridester.com to share my rideshare experiences with other drivers.
Since that time, I’ve expanded my knowledge-sharing efforts by creating this site, as well as writing the book Gigworker: Independent Work and the State of the Gig Economy, now available for purchase on Amazon.
I share helpful knowledge about the industry, which is regularly quoted by publications such as Forbes, Vice, CNBC, and more.
