Favor Delivery is currently seeking delivery drivers, which they call “Runners”, to delivery anything the customers order.
This includes food, dry cleaning, and packages.

Favor Delivery Runners enjoy perks that set them apart from other delivery services.

For example, Runners can keep 100% of the tips they earn when delivering, all hours that are worked after being scheduled are eligible for minimum guaranteed earnings, and both part and full time work options are available.

If you’re idly sitting around, or just have extra time on your hands, apply to deliver with Favor today!

How Much Can You Make as a Runner?

Before we get too far into the application process, you probably want to know how much you can make as a Runner.

Of course, this is a gig-based job.

So, the exact amount you will make depends on how much you work.

But, it also depends on when you work.

Since most people use Favor to order food, you’ll make more money if you work during lunch and dinnertime.

To get an idea of your earning potential at Favor, consider the following:

    • Favor guarantees a minimum wage for all the hours you work. Typically, this is $9/hour, but it varies from city to city. Larger urban centers offer a higher wage.
    • Average earnings are between $10 and $15 per hour.
    • You get to keep 100 percent of your tips. This allows many people to make upwards of $25/hour working as a Runner.

However, you should keep in mind that Runners drive their own vehicles.

Therefore, you’ll have to spend money on gas and vehicle maintenance.

The wages don’t reflect any of those costs.

So, if you’re using your car to work as a Runner, know that gas and maintenance will come out of your earnings, so this can affect your bottom line.

But, due to Favor’s guaranteed minimum and their 100% tip policy, it’s possible to make some serious cash working for Favor, even if just a few hours per week.

    Applying to Be a Runner

One of the best things about Favor is that it’s super easy to apply and get set up.

The company very few requirements and they aren’t strict.

    Here are Favor’s Runner requirements:

    • Be at least 18
    • Be able to pass a background check
    • Own an iPhone or Android phone
    • Have access to reliable transportation. You do not need to have a car as Bikes and scooters are allowed.

If you meet the requirements to be a Runner, you can fill out an application at apply.favordelivery.com.

The first step is to fill out the application.

It asks for some necessary personal information.

A screenshot of the Favor signup form.

    It looks like this:

From there, you’ll create a password for your account.

You’ll also need to provide a phone number.

Favor sends a four-digit code to that number for verification.

Once you’ve done this, you’ll schedule a Favor Runner orientation.

Depending on your availability and location, there could be several options to choose from.

After you pick one, you’ll get a confirmation that looks like this:

How to schedule a Favor orientation meeting.

That pretty much concludes the application process.

Your next task is to attend the orientation session.

There, you’ll learn more about the job, pick up your t-shirt, and get access to the Runner’s version of the app.

    Getting Hired

Truthfully, getting hired for Favor is not all that difficult.

As long as you meet the requirements and have a clean record, you shouldn’t have any trouble.

There’s one important thing to remember: Bring your driver’s license to the orientation

You’ll need it so that Favor can run their background and driving record checks.

Also, it still doesn’t hurt to treat the orientation as if it were an interview.

Acting in a professional manner will show the representatives that you take pride in the opportunity.

Here are some things to try to show off when you meet with Favor representatives.

    Positive Attitude

Remember: Favor brands its Runners as “personal assistants,” not delivery drivers.

As a result, make sure to demonstrate your positive attitude when meeting with Favor reps.

They’ll assume that you’ll treat customers the way you treat them.

    Enthusiasm

Favor Runners work as much or as little as they want.

But, the company obviously wants employees who are looking to get out there and make the most of their time.

During orientation, the reps will ask about your hours.

Be ambitious about your estimate to show the reps that you’re enthusiastic about the opportunity.

    Responsibility

Favor is trusting you to be an ambassador of their brand.

You’re the one who is going to parade around the city with their shirt on, and you’re the one who’s going to be dealing with customers.

When speaking with the reps, make sure to act in a professional manner.

Show them that you’re the type of person they can trust to represent their company.

How to Get Started as a Runner

    A group of Favor runners.

Working as a Runner is relatively straightforward.

Once you make it past the orientation and are officially hired, you’ll need to download the Favor Runner app.

You will not be able to do this until after your orientation, as this is where Favor provides your login information.

After you’ve got the app, enter your account details.

Then, you’ll need to select your shifts.

Remember, you’re free to choose as many or as few hours as you want.

But, don’t sign up for a shift unless you’re available.

Canceling too many times will affect your account status negatively.

In order to start working, you must have a Favor prepaid credit card in your possession.

This allows you to pay for food.

The company should give you this at orientation.

If they don’t, they should mail you one shortly afterward.

    Your First Shift

When the time comes to work your shift, put on your tuxedo t-shirt, grab your phone, hop in your vehicle, and open the app.

Orders will start to come through.

When you see one that works for you, all you need to do is click “Accept.”

Once you’ve done this, you’ll receive all the information you need.

The app lets you know where to go, what to pick up, and where to deliver.

Go to the location, get the requested items, and pay for them with the Favor prepaid card.

IMPORTANT: If you are picking something up from a cash-only establishment, you’ll need to pay out of pocket.

But, as long as you keep your receipts,

Favor will reimburse you on your next paycheck.

The next step is to take the items to the customer.

You’ll be provided with their phone number in addition to their address so that you can call them when you’ve arrived.

After you’ve completed your shift, you can view your earnings in the app.

Funds should be available at the end of each week.

    How to Maximizing Your Earnings

In general, there are two ways you can earn more money as a Runner:

    1. Do more deliveries
    2. Earn more  tips

Extra shifts are a great way to make more money.

But, you may not be able to do this if you have a busy schedule.

As a result, you should make efforts to maximize your tips.

Here are some ways to do so:

    • Pick up larger orders and travel further. Favor gives all customers a suggested tip amount. The amount changes based on the order and the distance. Try to maximize both so that you can benefit from a larger tip.
    • Communicate with customers. You have their phone number, so go out of your way to let them know if there’s an issue. If you run into traffic and are going to be delayed, give them a call. A quick call can go a long way.
    • Dress well and be respectful. Just because you don’t have a boss doesn’t mean you can do as you please. Clean up and make yourself look presentable. Approach each customer with a smile and a positive attitude.

Overall, you’d be surprised how these small changes can impact your earnings.

Over time, they can help you get closer to that $25/hour rate.

    Conclusion

Favor is an excellent opportunity for Texas residents who want to make some extra money.

It offers a potentially stable income along with the freedom to choose your own hours.

Being a Runner will allow you the freedom to choose your hours while providing you with a stable income.

We’ve discussed everything you need to know to become a Runner, so if you’re interested, what are you waiting for?
